The owner, Raphael, and his wife were gracious hosts, providing excellent recommendations for dining and ensuring we had a pleasant experience. The apartment itself exceeded our expectations and was well-equipped with amenities such as a washing machine, ironing facilities, and a flat-screen TV. The free Wi-Fi in rooms and the provision of kitchen utensils were appreciated touches that enhanced the overall experience. The flexibility of an early check-in and late check-out to accommodate our skiing schedule was a thoughtful gesture.In conclusion, La Porteille offers a good balance between cost and luxury, making it a sensible choice for travelers seeking comfort and convenience in Ax-les-Thermes.
